A chef from Rovaniemi is named Arto Rastas. His previous eateries were Ravintola Hella & Huone, the quick food joint Hella & Huone, and most recently, Tampere's Dining 26 by Arto Rastas. He is the proprietor of the Lempäälä summer restaurant Villa Hakkari. In addition, Rastas runs a catering business and is the proprietor and head chef of the Helsinki Culinary Academy. He joined the international competition for young cooks in Bermuda that year and won the global championship. In 2005, Finland named him Young Chef of the Year. From 2007 to 2010, he also served on the national chefs team for Finland.
