Finnish chef Ismo Sipelainen, who was born in Sammati, works at the Finnjäveli restaurant in Helsinki. In 2013, Sipeläinen won the Nordic Young Chef competition. Before winning the award in 2015, he entered the Chef of the Year competition four times. In the 2016 Nordic Chef Championship, he placed second.
