Demo is one of the best fine dining restaurants in Helsinki. The seven course menu always delivers something new, tasty, and pleasant to the eye. One of the dishes that don’t change is the fantastic sourdough mini bread. It’s served with different butter, and it’s always a part of the menu to wait for.Demo has an extensive wine selection, so you can choose your own favourites or go with a very professional sommelier who can recommend best wines to your liking.I visited Demo for the first time around 2016, and for me, it’s been delivering since then a few times per year on family and business occasions.

Lovely experience. Very tasty food. Perfectly professional service. And It is true, afterwards you will want to eat some potatoes or something as one of the waiters said funnily. We did by the way went home and made some avocado and chicken stuffed pita bread. But the whole Michelin star restaurant and food service is completely worth it at Demo.We came here for a nice date with my love, we originally booked the 5 course menu, then at the restaurant upgraded to 6 courses, we were glad we did. It was worth it. All the dishes were very simple but so unusually tasty, we didn’t want to swallow the tiny foods we got in our plates because the tastes were so fun. Because we had gluten, pork and seafood restrictions we got all vegetarian options only, but they were still so good.The staff were top notch service wise. Wine was good. The restaurant decor look is nicer in real life than in the pictures.

Awesome food and great dining experience. I was feeling a little sick and they tried to be as helpful as possible. The only annoyance was that I couldn’t have cream but there were a number of items they provided that had it. It wasn’t too heavy on the cream side but it’s always frustrating when restaurants don’t adjust for dietary restrictions especially when they have a Michelin star and cost a decent amount.Despite all that I would give them a second chance if I were in Helsinki for longer than a day.
