Recently revisited this restaurant after its thorough redecorations. This time, we ordered the afternoon tea. The environment, the deco and the enjoyable atmosphere match the fine dining standards. Services are in the range of up notch. In the ingredients of afternoon tea, there added some Finnish element, a huge plus in taste. We enjoyed the stay both sense-wise and appetite-wise. Last, but not least, it is the restaurant’s central location.

I find it hard to rate this place – it’s a posh, expensive restaurant with a menu of basic Finnish meals made with a twist. The food was good, but served without sides, leaving me hungry after a 3 course set meal. The building is an old bank with an Art-deco interior, very beautiful but on a sunny summers day also quite dark – it might be better suited for autumn. I enjoyed my visit but I don’t think will come here again.

The place has quite rich atmosphere and food is stunning. I mean it. I have been to alot of restaurants here and never found anything like here. The vibe and staff is helpful and friendly. I recommend going there with friends, family, date. It’s a lovely place to be.

A really nice historical building. The place used to be a bank. Went several times for business dinners and felt like the quality of food and service changes a lot from a visit to another. At worst the service has been ultra slow and not welcoming. At worst you will get a cold place and no drinks. If you are lucky enough, you can get a fantastic fish and cold drinks.

Location: the main room could be quite cozy, but we were placed in the side room were the lighting was like in a canteen. Very bright and cold. If you would sit outside you would sit in a very busy street.Service: we clearly had a newbie, but she could have handled it a lot better. Didnt know about the wine and also did not know what was written on the billQuality: it was ok. Toast skagen good, main dish had had clearly defrosted peas and the dessert was ok.Price: ok for helsinki. Expensive for the the above experience

Great venue and location. Food is tasty and portions are good sized. Service friendly and they do help you with options. Not your cheapest option, but worth visiting. Drinks were good, but somewhat overpriced.
